Fantasy Animal Art Work

Below are some images of the animals that I may include in my final animation, I have produced these free hand using photoshop CS5.5, these art pieces will be simplified in the final animation to reduce production but will hopefully still look detailed and have the aesthetic as these images. 

The whale animation posted up a few weeks ago was a test to see how the animals would move and look, you can see that the whale is more simple than these images and will be the style I will be following.

Below is my finalised storyboard for my final project, hopefully from this storyboard you will hopefully gain an understanding about the idea. Now that I have completed the storyboard I can swiftly move on to the animatic stage of the project.

Further And Final Character Designs

Below are some of my developed designs for my final characters. As you can see from the first sketches the developments have been drastic. The new characters now have a design which is easier to animate and construct allowing me to produce my animation as efficiently as possible.

Final Character Designs and Turnarounds

These two images are of my final characters design, construction and turn around so that I can easily understand my characters proportions and weight to make animating easy.

This image shows the development from the characters below, as you can see they have a more of a realistic presence than the previous designs.

These sketches are some quick designs to give me an initial feel for my characters, If you remember from earlier on in this blog the other characters had more clothing and facial features which would have made animation difficult with the time scale I have.
